Serious Question: How Isn't Every Single New COS Item Out of Stock Already?

COS is one of those brands for me that I can always count on to offer at least a few items that check off all my boxes. Whether that’s just a striped T-shirt, great pair of jeans, or an easy, everyday dress, it doesn’t much matter. As long as I know that every time I type cos.com into my browser search bar, I’ll find something worth buying, I’ll keep coming back for more. Well, lately, the frequency at which I browse COS’s website has been more of a problem than an innocent behavior, and probably not for any of the reasons you’re thinking. The issue? Everything is too good.

Whereas I once might find one, max two, COS items to add to my shopping cart every time I looked, lately, that number has increased dramatically. Its selection of outerwear, dresses, shoes, pants, and most of all, bags, has me spending far more than I should. I just can’t resist, and the worst part is that when I receive my purchases, they’re even better than they looked online, sending me back to the site to browse and creating a never-ending spending cycle. My financial advisor is not happy with me. My wardrobe, on the other hand? Thriving.
