A Studio in the Woods – Self as Universe: Mending Our Collective Ecosystem

Textile Arts Center – Artist in Residence Cycle 17
Providing an opportunity to explore the textile medium, TAC AIR combines studio access with rigorous and regular critical dialogue. The program culminates in a group show in Brooklyn. Tuition is $11,000, the application fee is $35. A scholarship is available.

Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences, New Jersey – Works on Paper
Artists based in the continental US who practice drawing, painting on paper, prints, photography, digital works on paper, and 2D paper constructions can apply to this competition and exhibition juried by Samantha Friedman, Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at MoMA. The application fee is $35 for up to three entries.

National Wildlife Photo Contest
Photographers of all levels can submit their best images of the natural world to National Wildlife magazine’s 54th annual photo contest. One grand prize winner will receive $5,000, with additional awards for nine categories. Entry fees range from $15 to $25.

World of Wearable Art Competition
This annual design competition for wearable art culminates in a spectacular show combining theater, art fashion, music, and performance. WOW offers $200,000 in total prizes to 25 winners.

Los Angeles Arts Community Fire Relief Fund

Provincetown Art Association and Museum – The Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Grant
