I mostly enjoyed this one, but it wasn’t a favorite for romance.
I did like Rahul quite a bit. His love for Jasmine over the years was sweet and I thought it was great that he could somewhat keep that separate from the friendship that meant so much to both of them. Jasmine was a bit harder to like. I did get it though. Her mom left and it definitely messed her up. If her mom couldn’t love her enough to stick around, she thought no one could really love her. Except her dad. She definitely kept even her friends at a distance most of the time. I did appreciate how much Rahul understood her and tried so hard not to push. He even handled all her freak outs well.
I gave this book 4 stars.
