This Shoe Brand Is Redefining Style and Inclusivity

Say the word “inclusivity” to anyone in the fashion industry, and you’ll hear about the importance of casting diverse models and manufacturing realistic clothing sizes. But what often flies under the radar (yet is just as significant) is shoe sizing. That’s why Naturalizer has teamed up with model and inclusivity advocate Lauren Chan, as well as The Confident Collective, to host a series of United in Fashion podcast events. In the first live podcast episode, which kicked off during fashion week in New York City, Chan encouraged women to redefine the fashion narrative, advocating for inclusivity to be the standard across the industry. Chan said, “Fashion is a vehicle for self-expression and community and inclusion and art. It is not meant for flattery to minimize your body, to fit into a beauty ideal, [or] to make sure that something fits you off the rack.” Chan, along with the The Confidence Collective, also discussed the role that fashion and community play in one’s personal confidence journey. “It’s our job to use our voice and build community [and] to buy brands that are inclusive, showing that we’re here and we’re powerful, because we are,” Chan explained. The launch of Naturalizer’s new fall boot collection perfectly illustrates Chan’s sentiment by creating a space where fashion is accessible to all. The brand lives by the motto, “Women are not one-size-fits-all, so why should fashion be?” Its size-inclusive shoe collection ranges from 6N to 12XW and is available in calf sizes from narrow to extra-wide to help women find their best fit. The boots are even designed with innovative technology that hugs the contours of your legs to avoid any uncomfortable gaps. And of course, the collection doesn’t hold back when it comes to style. From western-inspired tall boots to kitten-heeled ankle booties, there’s something for every fashion person to wear this fall.

And Naturalizer doesn’t just stop there. On Tuesday, September 26, the brand is inviting everyone to listen in on the second United in Fashion podcast event, hosted by Deepica Mutyala, the founder of the inclusive beauty brand Live Tinted. We recommend marking your calendars and following Naturalizer on Instagram for more podcast updates, but in the meantime, start prepping your wardrobe with must-have fall styles from the collection below.
